Privacy notice: OpsFloor customers
Who we are
OpsFloor sells digital training products. OpsFloor is a trading name of Muiz Abbas Elsheikh, a sole trader based in Nottingham, who is the controller of the personal data described here. Our ICO registration number is ZC291713. You can reach Muiz Elsheikh at muiz@pulse-advisory.co.uk. Muiz Elsheikh also runs Pulse Advisory, a separate consultancy with its own privacy notice.
What we collect
When you request the free toolkit, you give us your first name and email address on a sign-up page hosted by HubSpot. We use them to send you the toolkit.
When you buy a product, the payment is handled by our checkout provider, Lemon Squeezy. We receive your name, email address, country and details of what you bought. We never see your full card or bank details. If you contact us, we also keep your message and our reply.
If you comment on one of our LinkedIn posts, your comment and public profile name are visible on LinkedIn, and we may reply there. We do not copy that information into a list.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details to send you the toolkit you asked for, supply the products you buy, send you the download link, answer questions and give support. For the free toolkit, our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you submit the form. For purchases, it is contract. We also keep basic sales records because the law requires it, and we use your details to deal with queries or disputes, which is a legitimate interest. We do not send marketing emails and we do not run a mailing list. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Our sign-up page provider (HubSpot) and our checkout provider (Lemon Squeezy) may set the cookies they need to run their pages and process payments securely. Please see their own policies for details.
Who sees it
Only OpsFloor, and the service providers we rely on to run it: HubSpot for the free toolkit sign-up and its delivery, Lemon Squeezy for payments and delivery of downloads, and our email provider for replies. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on approved safeguards such as an adequacy arrangement or the UK addendum to standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep toolkit sign-up details for up to 12 months, or until you ask us to delete them. We keep sales and support records for up to six years, which covers tax and accounting requirements and the time in which a dispute could arise. Support messages we no longer need are deleted sooner.
Your rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it erased, or restrict its use. You can object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests. To exercise any right, email muiz@pulse-advisory.co.uk. We reply within one month. Lemon Squeezy is separately responsible for the data it holds as your seller of record, so you may also contact it about your order.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date at the top.
